Activated Charcoal Teeth Whitening 60g

Activated Charcoal is also known as ac·ti·vat·ed car·bon.

Activated charcoal is a popular topic these days. It’s hard to be on social media and not see someone using it for teeth whitening purposes.

You can smear it on your face, wash your hair with it, and even brush your teeth with the black powder.  Observations also suggest that using activated charcoal on your teeth is effective in absorbing plaque and other compounds that stain teeth. Meaning . . .  the chemical properties of activated charcoal is a natural teeth whitener. It doesn’t neutralize the toxins—it binds to them, resulting in whiter teeth.

Making activated charcoal involves heating carbon-rich materials, such as coconut shells, to very high temperatures.  Activated charcoal is not the same substance as that found in charcoal bricks or burnt pieces of food.

The manufacture of activated charcoal makes it extremely adsorbent, allowing it to bind to molecules, ions, or atoms. In this way, it removes these from dissolved substances.
